What’s different about the BEST leaders?

by | May 30, 2023

When problems arise, they don’t see their EMPLOYEES as the problem. They see their OWN LEADERSHIP as the problem.

They start with themselves and refuse to blame. That’s where transformation starts…

A leader in one of our programs was struggling to meet their numbers. Morale was down. She felt frustrated and a bit overwhelmed.

And honestly, she was skeptical. She wasn’t sure if what she was learning about The Coach Approach to Leadership™ would work for her or her team.

But…

She decided to put what she was learning into practice. Instead of judging the outward circumstances and behaviors of her team, she focused first on how SHE could get better as a leader. She got curious about how she could better support them.

She began asking questions of her team—vulnerable questions about what they needed from her as a leader AND how she could support them differently, better.

Then she adjusted based on their feedback.

They saw her willingness to be open and do things in a different way, and here’s what happened…because she showed she actually ‘cared’ about them…they started ‘caring’ about what was important to her.

Now…

–       Morale is now up!

–       Their numbers have improved

–       Her team members now ask what THEY can do for HER!

And all because she was willing to abandon a top-down style of leading and take a COACH APPROACH TO LEADERSHIP and the heart of a servant leader.

And what’s more—this transformation happened in LESS THAN A MONTH!

Many leaders are stressed because they can’t get their employees to do what they need to do. But if leaders take 100% accountability for their leadership and really become a coach leader, they also can get these kind of results.
