Struggling to retain top talent in the current marketplace climate?
To engage & retain the best and brightest, it all starts with the leaders.
Leadership is not just about RESULTS. It is also about RELATIONSHIP.
It is commonly accepted that high rates of ‘unwanted’ employee turnover is very costly. According to Gallup, employee turnover costs can range from one-half to two times an employee’s annual salary.
The survey also stated that “over 1/2 of exiting employees (51%) say that in the three months before they left, neither their manager nor any other leader spoke with them about their job satisfaction or future with the organization.”
This translates to a LACK OF RELATIONSHIP.
As leaders, we must strike a healthy balance between ‘driving toward results’ while also staying in ‘relationship’ with our people.
We set the culture for our team by…what we do, don’t do…allow or don’t allow…and we have a direct impact on employee turnover and engagement.
