❓ How do you know if your leadership training program is working?
There are a number of ways to identify & measure whether a leadership development program is effective and producing an ROI.

🔥 But the truth is, there are a few other ‘rubber meets the road’ ways to measure if your LD program is working…
And I experienced one of them, first hand, yesterday as I entered our client’s office for a prescheduled 1:1 coaching session with the President of the company.
This client’s management team is currently going through The Coach Approach to Leadership™ and are in Phase 02 – RELATE of the program.
✨As I entered the lobby, the receptionist met me at the window immediately and very excitedly said she had something to tell me.
She went on to explain that one of the leaders in the program had been in her office recently – and shared with her our accountability formula (he had learned the formula in a previous session).
She told me SHE had started using it and how it was helping her better manage herself & her levels of frustration! She was SO excited about how it was helping her….and she was smiling the entire time she was talking with me!
✨ I later learned in the 1:1 coaching session with the President that another manager in the office (who was initially resistant to the idea of participating in a development program) is now ASKING when she will be able to participate!
…all because (according to her) she sees how different the management team is showing up now – and how they are growing from what they are learning!

And what a great example of how you can know if leadership development is working!
🛑 Here are a few questions to ask yourself to determine if your LD program is working:
-What difference is it making in the leaders in the program?
-What difference is it making in the teams they are responsible for?
-Are the leaders passionately sharing what they are learning because of the value they’re receiving from it?
-Is it so relevant to the business that the leaders are finding ways, time and time again, to apply the learning?
-Is it shifting ‘how’ work gets done and ‘how’ goals are achieved?
