How to have more effective conversations with your employees…

❓ How many conversations do you have in a day?

Chances are you haven’t thought much about it.

What may seem like small, insignificant daily interactions actually have a HUGE impact on relationships, productivity & the metrics your organization hits (or misses).

The authors of the book, “Mastering Leadership” drive home the point that: “Leadership IS a conversation.”

How you show up in each conversation determines your level of effectiveness at an INDIVIDUAL level.

It also drives the collective conversation, which influences the effectiveness of the COLLECTIVE leadership team.

How can you have more effective conversations to drive better results?

✅✅✅ Get clear about WHO YOU WANT TO BE and WHAT YOU WANT TO ACCOMPLISH for each conversation.

In the book, the authors share an example I love about a leader who has 3 objectives for each convo:

1. Increase understanding & buy-in

2. Achieve the desired outcome

3. Improve the relationship

❓ Before you go into your next conversation, pause for a moment & ask yourself, “How do I want to show up in this conversation? What do I want the outcome to be?”

✔️ Understand that each small interaction creates a ripple effect that expands throughout the entire organization.

💯 And there’s great responsibility & opportunity in that!

So, how will YOU show up in your next conversation?
