You can’t afford to ignore bad leadership.

Here’s what it will cost you if you do:

I recently witnessed two different companies lose talented professionals. And both were a direct result of ineffective leadership—a.k.a. ‘bad boss behavior’.

Why did this happen?

Because silence becomes acceptance.

Both of these companies DELAYED addressing the ineffective, reactive leadership behavior of managers.

Now, don’t get me wrong: these companies are actually committed to excellence, growth and profitability…AND they care about their employees.

But in these two examples, they delayed action. And it COST them dearly.

Not only in the loss of two talented industry professionals, but also:

– in lost hours of onboarding, training and technical expertise

– hours it will NOW take to attract, interview, onboard, train and integrate a NEW employee

– PLUS manage the workload with ‘very maxed out and disappointed’ team members who are fully aware of what they’ve lost

The reason I’m sharing this?

As a reminder…

You can’t afford to ignore or delay addressing ineffective, highly reactive leaders.

It may APPEAR these leaders are getting results (and they may be in the short-term), but it will cost you significantly in the long run.

Your silence becomes acceptance. Don’t let unwanted turnover happen to you.

Be proactive in addressing leadership styles that are not in alignment with the company culture you want to create.
