I was thinking this morning about how grateful I am that I achieved my goal of becoming a Master Certified Coach. NOT because of the designation itself. But because of WHO I HAVE BECOME in the process.
Looking back at how much this divinely-appointed coaching journey has taught me is quite humbling.
I’ve become a better LEADER…even more invested in inspiring each life I touch, looking for ways to equip, encourage & empower others to be their best.
I’ve become a better BUSINESS OWNER…growing my skills, taking more risks, and stretching well beyond my comfort zone.
I’ve become a better MOM…parenting my children much differently through their adolescent and teen years than I would have – and enjoying the benefits of it today in my relationship with them as adults.
I’ve become a better WIFE and BUSINESS PARTNER…more proactive in dealing with my own ‘stuff,’ taking 100% ownership of and responsibility for my 50% of the relationship, communicating honestly and directly and learning when it’s better to extend grace.
Because I still live in ‘skin,’ all of these things continue to be a work in progress. However, without the principles I’ve learned and practiced through my coaching journey, life would look very different today.
So, today I am grateful.
