Unlock Your Competitive Edge
How to Shape Winning Company Culture
With trust, almost anything is possible for your team. Without trust, almost nothing is possible.
Trust is the glue that holds teams together and makes them effective.
So, how do you build trust?
You can do it in 3 ways:

✔️ (1) Relationship
Trust is about being someone that people can count on. It’s an intangible asset, and it lives in relationships. So, this is where you have to start. Taking time to build relationships. As a leader you:
✅ Genuinely care about them
✅ Listen to them
✅ Walk your talk (keep your word)
✔️ (2) Advocacy
As the leader, you are in a position to advocate for your team and what they need. If they know that you have their backs—that you’re after their good and not just your own advancement—you’ll have their loyalty. It all starts with the leader, so:
✅ Help them grow personally and professionally
✅ Represent them well when they’re not present
✅ Make sure they have the resources they need to be successful
✔️ (3) Decision-Making
This is a tricky one, because often a decision will make some people happy and others upset. You can’t please everyone. BUT, you can be an effective decision-maker and manage changes with care and clarity.
✅ Be clear about your intentions
✅ Help them understand why
✅ Keep them as informed as possible
💪🏼 You have what it takes to build trust on your team.
And I promise it will be a game-changer.
🙌🏼 It requires intention, time and a willingness to do the work, but it is definitely worth it.
