3 reasons a DREAM TEAM culture isn’t common in today’s workforce…
Before I started Executive Impact, I was the Senior Corporate HR leader of a company that grew from 250 to 10k employees in less than 5 years.
During that time, we built a business dream team culture where employees were excited, engaged & working toward a common vision.
It wasn’t until I later began consulting that I discovered a dream team culture was NOT AT ALL common.
I discovered 3 main issues:
⚠️ The surveys and stats are true…7/10 employees are disengaged & unmotivated (crazy, right?).
⚠️ Individual contributors or technical experts who get promoted to leadership roles often lack the skills to lead, which causes high levels of stress for leaders & employees – and often continues throughout their entire career.
⚠️ HR leaders are so busy putting out ‘fires’ it limits their ability to focus on proactive development & growth.
💚 This became my mission – to close the gap. That is why I created The Coach Approach to Leadership™ to solve these problems.
As leaders, a large part of our job is to create an environment that inspires employees to come to work excited, ready to solve problems and make the company more successful.
