LEADERSHIP BOOTCAMP
A 9-month leadership development program that transforms leaders from ‘boss’ to ‘coach’ by equipping leaders with the Coach Approach to Leadership principles.
The Coach Approach has proven to be effective with multiple generations across various industries and all levels of leadership, from the front lines to the C-Suite.
Combining in-depth assessments, interactive group learning, and individual 1:1 coaching sessions leaders experience profound self-awareness, build confidence, and increase their ability to better lead, coach, and influence others while achieving breakthrough business results.

The Coach Approach to Leadership
Phase 01. DISCOVER:
- Learn the scope and impact of leadership
- Unpack your leadership story to reveal natural areas of strengths & risk areas that may need to be managed
- Identify and measure your ‘natural wiring’ to assess how it can be an asset or potential liability in working with and leading others
Phase 02. RELATE:
- Learn to balance the ‘people’ and ‘task’ sides of leadership
- Master the keys to elevating individual and team accountability
- Experience playing the ‘blame game’ the right way
- Discover and manage the behaviors that build and break trust
- Increase skills to inspire & motivate others and achieve higher levels of ownership
- Improve overall communication with your team
Phase 03. COACH:
Deep dive into understanding human behavior and develop the mindset and skillset to be a great coach. Leaders learn:
- The difference between coaching vs. mentoring
- How values & beliefs drive human behavior & tie directly to employee engagement
- What it means when a coach leader has a growth vs. fixed mindset & how it influences your ability to coach effectively
- The art of active listening & coaching with curiosity
- The power of questioning, coaching the ‘who’ & a framework to use in day-to-day coaching conversations
- How to coach ‘up’ for success as well as coach ‘through’ conflict & performance barriers
After completing these three phases, not only do leaders individually feel aligned, confident and energized to build their own highly productive team, but they transform how they work with their peers – setting their people and their company up for higher levels of success.

What Clients Are Saying
“I LOVED the Leadership BootCamp program! It has helped me to develop my leadership skills and provided me with so many tools to more proactively manage, lead, encourage and motivate my team, all while effectively holding them accountable. I’m accomplishing more with less stress. The group training sessions are wonderful, and the one-on-one coaching sessions provided me the extra motivation, encouragement and accountability to put into action all I learned.”
“I have watched the Ripley leadership grow from good to great which has led to a strong bond of trust among the entire team. As a result, we have reduced shipping errors, increased productivity, reduced costs, dedicated many hours to developing a new parts system and maintained a high level of customer service despite a 30% increase in volume.”
“I can say without hesitation that the reason why we have prevailed in the most challenging year I have ever experienced as a professional is due to the groundwork you helped us lay over the past few years. The culture and team that we worked diligently in building with your coaching is a true Dream Team. We are ending this year at unimaginable growth in the year of a pandemic.”
According to the 2022 Gallup State of the Workplace Report, 67% of U.S. employees are disengaged and unmotivated.
Why is this the case?
Most leaders become leaders because they perform their job really well and, as a result, get promoted up to being the leader of others doing the same work.
The problem with this very common practice…

The skills it takes to DO the job are not the same skills it takes to LEAD OTHERS doing the same job.
The transition from individual contributor to leader often creates a confidence and skill gap that results in significant stress and frustration for both the leaders and their employees…and can continue on for years into the leader’s career.
Yet leaders have a profound impact on company culture. Leaders set culture by what they do, don’t do…what they allow or don’t allow.
Gallup found that leaders play a very critical role in employee engagement and employee wellbeing – accounting for 70% of the variance in team engagement.
The most effective way to deploy initiatives, improve employee engagement, and grow your business is to move leaders from ‘BOSS’ to ‘COACH’.
At Executive Impact, we partner with
you to develop COACH LEADERS who:
Inspire, coach, and motivate while also holding their team accountable for great results
Navigate conflict, have ‘hard conversations’ and invest in helping employees grow and develop
Engage and empower their team to solve business problems faster and more creatively
Improve communication, collaboration, and teamwork across all areas of the business
Increase productivity, efficiency, and effectively lead change
Consistently build the leadership bench for the future
All of which translates to an improved bottom line.
See What Other Leaders Are Saying…
“Initially, coaching seemed more like ‘fluff’ without producing any real results. I’ve since worked with Alissa in two different companies where I was the HR leader and have become convinced that coaching is a key to sustainable behavior change. Group sessions consisted of introducing the ‘coach approach’ concepts, lively discussion, role play, and practice. The real difference was when she coached the leaders one-on-one. She provided kind and candid feedback. Trust was built, awareness emerged, resulting in real cultural change.”
“I highly recommend Alissa and her team at Executive Impact for training and coaching in all areas of leadership. As a trainer, Alissa is always energetic, prepared and delivers solid content that provokes thought and growth. As a coach, Alissa provides challenging insight and observations about areas where you are looking to grow and, most importantly, always willing to provide feedback and accountability to those things that you have committed to work on and do! I cannot adequately express the value she has brought to our teams.”
“Of all programs and companies I have partnered with, by far Executive Impact has exceeded my expectations. I and my team love their tools. Our leaders continue to grow and become more self-aware, and this is a part of our committed relationship with Executive Impact. I highly recommend Alissa and her team.”
